Taxes, tariffs, and Trump's economic agenda
America needs free markets, limited government, and financial independence. Will Trump deliver?
Recent interviews discussing the state of the economy with Perry Atkinson, Jim Peters, and Randy Durham.
The die was cast more than 100 years ago (1913) when the Sixteenth Amendment was added to the Constitution and the founding of the Federal Reserve. The “Revolution of 1913” was the beginning of the end of the constitutional republic that supposedly was created to protect individual rights and prevent a powerful central government in DC. But the Alexander Hamilton vision for America—strong central government, a central bank, internal improvements, protective tariffs—has been embraced by virtually all members of Congress.
The Washington consensus is responsible for the chronic budget deficits, the nearly $37 trillion national debt, the Fed’s money printing, and endless wars. In short, the welfare-warfare state is thriving no matter who occupies the Oval Office.
A constitutional federal budget, sound money, and peaceful international relations will occur when the intellectual defense of statism is “buried” once-and-for-all and replaced with the principles of the Declaration of Independence…”life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
Until then, make your voices be heard in your communities.
